Best tire I know of for a Street Glide....better ride/better ware !

By KittyPuncher on 1 October 2014

HD Dunlop 402's that came on the new 2010 Street Glide were ok at best (front always out lasts rear), rear was done at 12,500 ....belt strings showing at 12990.. put Commander II's on at this time and now have 30,000 miles on the bike, so after 17,000 miles I'm looking for the best price to change them during winter down time, not due to ware...I would have made it another summer...about 1500 miles ago ran something over on an off ramp that put 2 holes in the rear tire... I plugged it to get more use out of it....I know it's not recommended, but the tire looked too good yet...And still is...but during winter I have to...I promised my wife I would (she was with me when we had the flat).... these are very good tires... more stable when switching lanes on the e-way that lines or cracks separating the lanes....good grip... you'll notice the bike handles a bit better...the wobble in corners these pieces of carp are known for is cut down a little... look good on the bike and a nice tread pattern...

happy with purchase

By Dale Laudenslager on 1 September 2014

3000 miles on so far , hardly showing any signs of wearing yet, happy with purchase. The added cost will succeed the extra miles in the end I believe and that's why I bought the tire , also Michelin has a great name in the tire business. Grip good Grip on pavement nice ride ....

Hoping for long mileage

Outstanding tire. I really like the smooth ride these tires provide. The tell will be on the longevity.

It is amazing how well this tire works on the road. Traction and performance are exceptional. And Amazon's price cannot be beat. Highly recommended.
