If you consider this just as a mountain bike, it stacks up pretty well against its competition. Dual suspension, quality components from suppliers such as Shimano; it's tough and built to last, and looks great too. But where this bike really comes into a league of its own is when you consider its incredible folding frame. For so many people, space is at a premium, whether it's storage space at home, space in the car, or even space on public transport. This bike allows you to keep all the fun of a mountain bike even in tight spaces. KMC Z33 chain, Folded dimensions: L 39" x H 35" x W 23.5", 36 lbs fully assembled. Left shifter: Microshift 3 speed grip shifter, Right Shifter: Microshift 6 speed grip shifter, Front Derailleur: Saigun QD-23a, Rear Derailleur: Shimano RD-TZ50. Brand new.

Amazing.

Amazing quality, easy to assemble if you have experience with mountain bikes. Only complaint would be the space between the pedal and front tire when the pedal is in its forward most position. It's about half an inch so you have to pedal with the your toes.

Think the bike is well made and like the color as well

Will change seat, too small for my big butt. I took some flak from my co-workers on this purchase. One stated they had never seen an elephant on a bike before. Think the bike is well made and like the color as well.

so far so good :)

Just to start out, I'm a recreational bike rider and I travel a lot. I got this bike because my last one was stolen and I thought it'll be cool to get a bike I can easily travel with.
Just got it out of the box today, so far eveu thing is there and appears to be in good shape. Haven't had many of the issues I read about so far. The handlebars are so far the most difficult to put on (still only took me like 20 min max to get it just right), one of the handlebar brakes was a little off but fixed it. Also, front brake tire setup will need adjustmenst to work right.
The bike is a little heavy, similar to a regular bike. I've never used a folding bike before so I don't know what weight they normally are.
When folding the bike for the first time it sort of sounded like I broke it at first, I was really relieved to find I didn't. It was hard to do so, I had to place it lying on the ground, put my foot on the back end and then apply moderate effort to fold it. Otherwise most everything is straightforward. Once I get it all put together I will test ride it and let yall know how it rides.

Once I got the bike completely set up I really like it. It fits into the trunk of my midsized car just fine with enough space for my winter items for the car(snow shovel and the like), my gym bag, and few other junk that I store in the back of the car. Which is great for heading out to the trail. It rides very nicely and I have no regrets about the purchase at all. But I did have to get few things changed to get to this point.

Get the bike to your local bike shop(or LBS for short) if you are novice like me. I tried to follow the manual (the bike came with a manual that is specifically for this bike) but I realized I'm not qualified to for the task when the handle went loose and started to turn on me while I was riding on the road with traffic. Bring the bike straight to a LBS and ask them to put it together for you. If you already had the parts put together but things aren't working out, then you can still bring the bike in and ask the LBS for a tune up. A tune up cost me $65 and it gives me a great sense of security knowing everything was professionally bolted down.

One thing my LBS couldn't fix for me is the gear shifter. It is difficult to turn the shifter itself and the left shifter will not readily engage the third gear. The seller was willing to take it back and take a look at it and fix it or replace the bike, but I was really happy with the way my LBS had set everything up and I didn't want to risk anything becoming messed up. So I'm going to have to get myself a new shifter. I would advise new buyer to test the shifter and see if you are happy with it before doing the tune up.

That was it for the essentials with this bike. If you are going to ride this as a commuting bike or just ride it on the road in general I would suggest you look into getting a thinner slick or semi-slick tires. These tires have less friction against the road so they will give you less resistance and more speed. I went this route and I love the way the bike rides. If you plan on riding on the trails then the tires it came with should be fine. Just make sure you put more air into the tire once you get them, because they will come semi inflated in the box. The tire suggests about 50 psi.

Lastly, I got a quick release installed on the front wheel from the LBS. When the bike folds the handle bar sticks out making it difficult to fit into the trunk or other small spaces. By getting a quick release front wheel I can take the wheel off and turn the handle flat. Definitely recommended for anyone that's looking to store the bike in folded position. (The bike folds by flipping the lever, freeing the lever by swinging it out, and then lifting the whole switch one more time. Just in case you get stuck)

When I was looking into the folding bikes I saw so many bad reviews that I was afraid to buy any of them, then this one was the "less bad", so I decided to research on the components and give it a shot.
I'm glad I did! It's strong, easy to assemble, I use it on stone roads and it can handle very well, it also looks nice
