It's a little hard to slowly ease it down - seems like as soon as you hit the release point in the valve, it's all or nothing, but probably I just need more practice. I really like the side handles for maneuvering under the car to hit the jack points. Reasonable weight (carry-able) for a 3-ton unit. Have only used it about 4 times but it seems to be quality quite well. Postman must hate me because he's old and this thing weighs about fifty pounds. Metal all around and it lifts quick. No problems, Nice high lift and it seems well built. My only gripe is the automatic recoil on the bracket that the handle goes into. Depending on how you use the jack, if the jack is completely under the car with weight on it and the handle comes out for any reason, the bracket recoils to the straight up position making it impossible to reinsert the handle.
