This will keep me super healthy!   Love the smoothies 'n shakes; annoyed with the leaks! By Irene Bevilacqua on 11 October 2014 I own a very expensive Breville Juicer, but I always felt that the pulp that emptied into the little basket at the back was so wasteful and that I was really tossing out all the good fiber, vitamins and nutrients. I used to spend $50 just to make a pitcher of juice which included greens and fruit. So, after watching this on TV and reading a zillion reviews, I thought that the best place to buy an item like this is good old Bed Bath and Beyond with a 20% coupon, as opposed to say, Amazon, in the event I had to either exchange or return it. Today, I am on machine #3 after 2 weeks. I followed the instructions explicitly, watched a few videos before ever using this, and read all the pointers and of course, the horror stories, i.e., leakage, oily leaks, gasket issues, etc. This did not stop me, and I wanted to give this a fair shot and see for myself if it outdid my Breville which was always flawless, or if the horror stories were true. The machine is really nice and easy to use, cleanup is a breeze.......if it works correctly! However, the first day with machine #1, it leaked nasty green stuff (my greens) through the bottom of the base and then all inside the base. The cup was closed tightly with the extractor blades, the water line was filled exactly to the max line, but as soon as it began to spin, it leaked all over the place. Back that unit went. Then came machine #2. Worked great for the first few days, and today the same nasty green leaks (from the greens) occurred: under the base of the unit and inside the base where the cup inserts. The extractor blade was secure, filled the container to the MAX line which is very important not to overfill, but it leaked all over, from the tabs where it powers on the unit to underneath the base. I'm on unit #3. Haven't tried it yet, but I'm determined to get a good one! Love the convenience, the ease of cleanup, all the containers with the lids and sport handle, and the recipe booklet and hardcover recipe book. I had just purchased a magic bullet and it wasn't powerful enough me. Then I discovered this gem. The cups and screw-on blades are all larger than those that come with the MB, and they seem more durable, and less likely to crack if dropped on the ground. I look forward to using it every single day   Great item in maintaining health. By Carolyn L. Kovac on 8 October 2014 I'm very pleased with this item and glad I upgraded to the 900. The cost difference was not that much, and a recipe book was included. It is easy to use, and the benefits of good nutrition are excellent. it is easy to clean and dishwasher safe. The item was also recommended to me by my doctor. I did research on it and then made my decision to purchase. It is completely different from a blender and vita mixer. Benefits of NutriBullet include weight control, bringing down cholesterol levels, and maintaining good blood sugars. I'm very pleased and would recommend this item to those interested in maintaining good health.
