Great product.
Great gift wrapping.
Bad choice of delivery company! Lasership! The box was so fit that with minimal impact, the product would have been damaged. No bubble wrapping or whatsoever. For something of their own product, you would think they will choose UPS or FedEx.

I got a kindle last year, i loved it so much I bought the new fire when it came out in Oct. I love, love, love it. so much you can do. All the free books, apps, and games are great for a hard working mom it's nice to sit with after the kids go to bed and find craft books to do projects with the kids the next day.

Are you buying this to share? If so you may want to think again. The Multi-User function is VERY RESTRICTIVE. You can have 2 adult accounts only. The 4 other accounts are "child" accounts that are locked and limited. You cannot turn the "child mode" off. They cannot install apps. I couldn't even give them permission to use an Internet Browser App, so no internet either.
Those users can only open the very limited apps you can assign them. My teenagers immediately started freaking out because a bunch of the "standard" apps for them were not available through the Amazon App downloader. You cannot use Google Play.
It worked great, and I was really wanting to love it... but we sent it back the next day when we realized how many limitations and restrictions the tablet has.
If you are not going to share this tablet. If you don't play games. If you only want to use the tablet for Amazon related things, then you may enjoy the Fire.
However if you want to be able to download regular apps like YOUTUBE or INSTAGRAM, then don't buy this.

I own 4 Kindles..can't live without them. This one is an upgrade to the one I bought several years ago, it did not have a camera. I hand them down to the grand kids who just love them too... Can get all 9,000 pictures I store on the cloud, a grandmas dream... and fits into the purse.
