Very disappointed. I have been saving for sometime now for a TV only to find that the model I want is "currently out of stock". You really dropped the ball on this one Amazon...

Great TV and I'm happy with my purchase, but for this price I expected it to have a UHF connector so I could hook up my Commodore 64.

I had to deduct a star, because the first one I ordered give me some trouble. The TV box itself was so big, that I had to remodel the house to make a double entry door. Finally we were able to take it into the house, plug it in, but the sucker didn't want to turn on for nothing, so returned for refund the same day. Although I have returned the faulty "new" TV, the family was happy with the roomy entrance door for the time being.
After some research I've learned that there is a well know manufacturing issue with the remote controls (supplied w/o batteries), however the refurbished one is guaranteed to work right out of the box. Needless to say, I ordered one without any hesitation. It cost me 100K more, but Hey, finally I get a working one that I always wanted.
Oh boy, what a relief it was, the refurbished one worked right out of the box.
I took a star away from Samsung, but I certainly give 5 stars to Samsung authorized service centers for the great service they offer for pennies. I will never buy a new TV even if I have to scarifies both of my "great" nuts for a refurbished one.

Enhanced delivery and the 2% back in rewards was the deal breaker for me. I did not know what to expect by way of "Enhanced Delivery". Eventually the truck came, Gregory Lee, President and CEO of Samsung, thanked me for his 2 day salary as he fanned me with a fig leaf. He then rang a bell and 2 professional AV technicians from MIT installed the TV, hooked up my home theater and my network. 2 scantily clad bikini models gave me a grease down and a shiatsu. It was a good day.

What a box, November 20, 2014

I had to sell one of my kidneys, but hey, you only live once, right? This TV has won my heart, but I couldn't sell it somehow there is an insurance issue, which came on later as my apartment is worth less than this fabulosicious TV and I had trouble adjusting my renter's insurance, but that's not why I give it 4 stars. It's the box! I hate the box! I hurt my index finger while opening the box, which is roomy but also curved and is impossible to open. I don't know who designed the box but this is the worst box in the history of boxes. I did what I always do with my electronic gadgets when they are delivered in boxes, open one side, flip the box upside down and take the box out, not the product in the box - get it? Much easier. And thanks to its curved design, the TV did not fall on its back during this maneuver, but the curved box was such a pain in the ass. I mean, come on!

I also hurt another finger while trying to hang it on the wall, curved design makes it very hard to do the hanging thing, because it is curved. I had to hang it on its center, to an old nail that held my family portrait, and now the TV can swivel from one side to the other! I love the ability to rotate it - thanks to its genious curved design. For example, when I am by the door, I can pull on one edge and rotate the TV towards the door, so that I can watch my favorite commercials whilst taking my shoes off. And then as I walk towards the center of the apartment I keep turning the TV thanks to its curvacious design. And then I sit on the floor and the TV is right there, with its curves embracing me - literally, because that's how big my apartment is. I can't really open the window anymore because of the curve but I can live with that.

I am not sure that I should be bleeding from my nostril, also I think I popped one of the stitches on the kidney surgery area. Damn. Maybe if I turn this way and turn the TV towards with my toe, there... awesome, awesome.
