He is just getting starting in his wood working craft. Just so you know it doesn't come with a router that is something you have to purchase separately. Robust plastic base combined with aluminum table is a great combination. With router it's heavy enough to sit solid on a table top and also run quietly and not vibrate itself apart when in use. Dust collection hood on fence works well. I made up a coupling inline with the fence 2 1/2" vacuum hose that splits off a 1 1/4" hose that goes to the router base.
